Our Criminal Justice program is designed to prepare students to work within a variety of fields, including law enforcement, security, loss prevention, and emergency medical care. The program emphasizes Criminal Investigation and Loss Prevention Security and features comprehensive instruction in white-collar crime, investigation studies, analysis of security systems, and more.

Dental Assisting
Western Career College's Dental Assisting program is designed to prepare students to become qualified dental assistants. Students gain hands-on skills as they learn to take x-rays, make dental impressions, and perform coronal polish, restorative, oral surgery, and a variety of orthodontic procedures. Graduates will be prepared with the training needed to take the State of California Dental Board exam for licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant.

Dental Hygiene**
Our Dental Hygiene program prepares students to become dental hygienists. Curriculum includes instruction and hands-on learning in key dental hygienist tasks, including how to assess general and oral health, remove plaque, perform dental x-rays, administer local anesthesia, apply preventative agents to teeth, and more!
- Health Care Administration
Western Career College's Health Care Administration program is designed to prepare you for a career as a health care administrator in a hospital setting, or in a medical or dental front office. Our health care administration program focuses on developing administration skills, medical skills, and health office skills. Curriculum includes instruction in medical terminology, pharmacology, and more. - Massage Therapy
Our Massage Therapy program introduces students to Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, Hydrotherapy, and a variety of other massage therapy techniques. Curriculum includes instruction on anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, clinic experience, and more. It also teaches business skills with courses in business, marketing, advertising, and presentation skills.

Western Career College's Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to become medical assistants. Our medical assisting program includes clinical, administrative, and laboratory training - as well as training through completion of an externship. Graduates will be prepared to sit for the national certification exam for medical assistants and will have met California's requirements for injection administration and venipuncture.

Our Medical Billing program is designed to prepare students for a successful career in medical billing and administration. Curriculum focuses on theory and practice and incorporates instruction on a variety of industry-related topics like how to use medical billing software. Graduates can be prepared for jobs in medical offices, dental offices, hospitals, clinics, and more.

Western Career College's Pharmacy Technology program is designed to provide the practical and technical training needed to pursue pharmacy technician positions. Students learn about pharmacy calculations, drug distribution systems, pharmacology, medical terminology, and more. Successful graduates are ready to take the Certified Pharmacy Technician exam.

Our Surgical Technology program combines classroom and clinical instruction to prepare students for successful careers in surgical technology. Curriculum includes instruction in topics like surgical terminology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and more. Graduates will be qualified to pursue surgical technologist work in a variety of settings, including hospital operating rooms, delivery rooms, cast rooms, and emergency departments.

Through a combination of classroom and clinical instruction, laboratory training, and hands-on experience, Western Career College's Ultrasound Technology program prepares students for entry-level work as diagnostic medical sonographers. Curriculum focuses on abdominal, obstetrical, and gynecological ultrasound. Graduates are prepared to pass the Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography national registry examination.

Our Veterinary Technology program is designed to teach the skills and knowledge needed to pursue entry-level work in a variety of veterinary medical settings. The program includes theoretical and practical instruction, clinical rotation, and an externship through which students may gain valuable field experience. Students learn the fundamentals of anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology, and more! Graduates will be ready to take the California Registered Veterinary Technician State Board Examination.

Western Career College's Vocational Nursing program is designed to prepare students to work as a vocational nurse under the guidance of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or licensed dentist. Curriculum includes foundational nursing instruction that prepare students to provide nursing care for patients with common, well-defined problems. Graduates may choose to further their education with a Registered Nursing program.
